Environmental Water Use: Water Appropriations for Fish and Wildlife

 
 

Numerous water right permits have been issued by the Wyoming State EngineerÆs Office (SEO) for the benefit of fish and wildlife. These permits are held not only by State and Federal agencies but also by private citizens for the purpose of maintaining fisheries and wildlife habitat. A complete listing of waters appropriated for environmental beneficial use is too extensive to compile. A list of permits for fish and wildlife uses in the Pathfinder to Guernsey subbasin is shown in the following table.
