Alcova Reservoir

 
 

Like Seminoe Dam and Reservoir, Alcova Dam and Reservoir are owned by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) and are part of the Kendrick Irrigation Project. The Casper Canal diversion, which conveys irrigation water to Kendrick Project agricultural lands, is located at Alcova Dam. Alcova Dam construction was completed in 1938. Construction of the Alcova Powerplant was completed in 1955. More information regarding Alcova Reservoir storage capacity, outlet capacity, and hydroelectric generating capacity is available in the following table.
