  Municipal and Domestic Water: Domestic Water Use  
 

United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) records indicate that there are six non-community public water systems within the Upper Laramie subbasin. The USEPA reported the population served by these systems is 515 people. Groundwater is the sole water source used by these entities within the subbasin.

The total number of rural domestic wells in the Upper Laramie subbasin is estimated to be approximately 2,021. This number indicates that approximately 4,932 people are served by rural domestic groundwater wells in the subbasin. The following table shows the estimated breakdown of rural domestic water use per county within the subbasin. As seen by clicking here, 98 percent of rural domestic water supplies are derived from wells located in Albany County.
