Recreational Water Use: Golf Courses

 
 

Platte River Basin golf courses have typically utilized water for irrigation. Some facilities are able to use treated domestic or industrial wastewater for irrigation. Other golf courses may have private groundwater wells or use treated water supplied by the nearest town or city. Within Wyoming’s Platte River Basin there are reported to be 18 golf courses.
