Dataset Description:

The Wyoming Game & Fish Department maintains an extensive database of site-specific water quality information for the State of Wyoming as sampled by the agency. Consisting of more than 25,000 records at various sites across the state, it is specifically oriented toward fisheries. The earliest records which are resident on the system date back more than 40 years. Sampling has continued throughout on a variety of schedules, including instantaneous visits, annual visits, etc. Each site's available data and periods of record may vary accordingly.

Dataset Utility:

Records exist for more than 10,000 unique Game & Fish water quality sampling sites (stream reaches, lakes and reservoir sites) across the State of Wyoming. *Specific numbers for this basin are not available. These samples are unique records, thus unavailable on any other database. Coupled with other water quality information available digitally (USGS QWDATA, EPA STORET, WRDS, DEQ files, etc.), these records will prove an extremely useful tool in assisting planners with an evaluation of stream, lake and reservoir quality within the basin.
