United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) records indicate four non-community public water systems are located within the Lower Laramie River subbasin. The USEPA reported that the population served by these systems is 860 people.

Groundwater is the domestic water source used in this subbasin. The total number of rural domestic wells in the Lower Laramie River subbasin is estimated to be approximately 1,455. This indicates that approximately 3,539 people are served by rural domestic groundwater wells in the subbasin. The following table shows the estimated rural domestic water use breakdown per county within the basin. As seen by clicking here, 76.8 percent of rural domestic water supplies are derived from wells located in Platte County.
