  Municipal and Domestic Water Use: Domestic Water Use  
 

United States Environmental Protection (USEPA) records identify five non-community public water systems within the Guernsey to State Line subbasin, including a motel, a mercantile, a campground, a supper club, and a bar. All of these systems are located in Goshen County. Groundwater is utilized by these five systems. The USEPA reported that the population served by these systems is 225 people.

The total number of permitted rural domestic wells in the Guernsey to State Line subbasin is estimated to number approximately 1,475 based on Wyoming State EngineerÆs Office (SEO) records. This total indicates that approximately 3,569 people are served by rural domestic groundwater wells in the subbasin.
