DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION MEMORANDUM

BLAKE DENTON DITCH

DIVERSION DESCRIPTION

One 5' wide rectangular screwtype sliding steel gate in concrete headwall approximately 1/4 mile downditch from the point of diversion from Gooseberry Creek.

N 15E 44' 45" W, 3392' from the SE corner Section 8, Township 46N, Range 94W.

CONVEYANCE DESCRIPTION

Open dirt ditch approximately 5 miles long with two major flumes crossing badlands draws and one flume crossing Gooseberry Creek to serve lands south of the creek. Ditch serves approximately 930 acres and 5 users. Ditch capacity approximately 15 c.f.s.

SUNNYSIDE CANAL

DIVERSION DESCRIPTION

Two 36" screwtype sliding steel headgates in timber headwalls. One gate diverts to the Southline Sunnyside Canal out of the south side of Gooseberry Creek and the other diverts to the Northline Sunnyside Canal out of the north side of Gooseberry Creek.

CONVEYANCE DESCRIPTION

Northline ditch is 4 miles long and serves approximately 320 acres and 4 users. Ditch capactiy ~ 15 c.f.s. Part of the water rights have been moved to the Toyne ditch. Southline ditch is 6 1/2 miles long and serves approximately 1290 acres and 8 users. Ditch capacity is ~ 25 c.f.s.
