WINCHESTER DITCH

DIVERSION DESCRIPTION

Boulder diversion dam diverts water into ditch through concrete rectangle with manually operated sliding gate.

N 38E 15' W, 1605' from S 1/4 corner Section 17, Township 3 N, Range 2 W, WRM and is in the SE 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 17

CONVEYANCE DESCRIPTION

Open dirt ditch approximately 4 1/2 miles long, spill gate approximately 1 mile down ditch. Ditch 10 feet wide at upper end Estimated capacity ~ 45 c.f.s.
