Two 2' screw type sliding metal gates in concrete headwall.

DIVERSION LOCATION

Source: Big or Middle Popo Agie River
N 35E 28' W, 2990' from the SE corner of the NW 1/4 SE 1/4 of Section 35, Township 33N, Range 100W.

CONVEYANCE DESCRIPTION

Open dirt ditch 5 miles long, with Peralta Extension and other laterals adding another 4 miles of ditch. Ditch serves approximately 20 users on approximately 880 acres. Ditch capacity ~ 15 c.f.s.

DIVERSION DESCRIPTION

One 8' wide sliding steel screwtype gate in concrete headwall.

DIVERSION LOCATION

Source: Big Popo Agie River
S 59E 33' 50" W, 2261.2' from the NE corner Section 20, Township 34N, Range 98W, and is in Lot 2 of Section 20.

CONVEYANCE DESCRIPTION

Open dirt ditch 5 miles long delivering water to approximately 770 acres and 10 users. Ditch diverts from Big Popo Agie River, runs approximately 1/2 mile, then siphons under the Little Popo Agie River in the western part of the Town of Hudson for 4 1/2 miles, then terminates in Sand Draw. Ditch capacity is approximately 25 c.f.s.

CONVEYANCE DESCRIPTION

Open dirt ditch 6 miles long with 3 major laterals adding another 3 1/2 miles of ditch. Approximately 1000 feet of fluming across rock outcrops, Sheep Canyon Creek, and Hornecker Creek. Delivers water to 38 users on approximately 1150 acres. Ditch capacity ~ 25 c.f.s.

CONVEYANCE DESCRIPTION

Open dirt ditch 5.7 miles long, then splitting into two main laterals 4.6 and 6.5 miles long respectively, serving a total of approximately 3350 acres. A 550 foot section of the main ditch is concrete lined. Ditch traverses extremely rough country, thus has numerous checks, dividers, chutes, etc., with approximately 45 individual turnouts. Ditch capacity ~ 60 c.f.s.

One 4' sliding metal screw type headgate in concrete headwall.

DIVERSION LOCATION

Source: Greybull River
N 4E 25'W, 4290' from NE corner Section 28, Township 51N, Range 95W, and lying in Lot 71, Township 51N, Range 95W

CONVEYANCE DESCRIPTION

Open dirt ditch approximately 7.5 miles long with three major laterals (Hall lateral, Edgecomb Extension and Gould Extension) which add approximately 14 miles of ditch. Spillgate located 1 1/4 miles down ditch. Supplies water to approximately 2500 acres, ditch capactiy approximately 45 c.f.s.

CONVEYANCE DESCRIPTION

Open dirt ditch approximately 6 miles long including 3 major laterals, serving approximately 30 users on 2150 acres. History of wash-out problems at several locations. Ditch capacity ~ 18 c.f.s. Ditch route is a combination of the former locations of 3 ditches (the Grant Young, the Snavely, and the Jones, Warnock and Rebidow).
